Eve's parents moved from Israel to England when she was a child. They still remained very, very traditional people, though. As Eve grew up she heard all about how she had a certain role to fill. When she was older she was to marry a wealthy man a few years older than herself, and he would take care of her while she took care of the children and home. That was just the way it was. She was constantly jealous of her older brother, who seemed to have so many more options than her. Eve did extremely well in school and it was obvious she had a lot of potential. She had resigned herself to her parents will, though, and began dating some of the men they introduced her to. However, when Lancaster offered a full scholarship to her, she changed her mind. They had so much more to offer her, and she'd wanted to go to college for so long - this was her chance. So she more or less flipped her parents off and took the train to school. She doesn't talk to her family much anymore, and when she does, it's rather awkward. personalityEve hates being second best. She wants to be number one at everything, and works very hard at being so. She doesn't want to resort to sabotage and manipulation to do it, though. She's an honest girl, and admires those who are too. Unfortunately, she doesn't realize that not everyone is that way. She takes most things at facevalue and believes what people say unless she has a very good reason not to. This can end up getting her into a bit of trouble, but she usually keeps to herself, so it's not too much of a problem. She tends to feel that she 'belongs' in a lower rung, especially when it comes to men, but none-the-less fights against that. It's not a feeling she'll admit to even to herself. Sometimes she'll do the opposite of what people want, if she's feeling particularly bitter or jealous, just because she knows it will annoy them.
